Senior Account Executive - Midwest Region (Remote)
ClearFlow, a leader in smart utility & public works management solutions, is seeking a
Senior Account Executive to drive and accelerate growth for our cutting-edge SaaS platform
within the Midwest region.
This is a high-impact sales role focused on building relationships with municipal water, wastewater
and public works departments, identifying opportunities, developing and closing deals that help
transform operations. You’ll work directly with Sales Leadership as well as key utility leaders and
decision-makers, presenting ClearFlow’s powerful SaaS solutions to meet real-world infrastructure and
compliance challenges. Top performers will have the opportunity to take on larger strategic accounts,
expanded regional responsibility, or sales leadership opportunities as the company scales.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record in municipal or public-sector sales, a consultative
sales approach, and an established network of relationships with municipal water, wastewater, and/or
public works leaders and decision-makers. Existing contacts within one or more of the target
states, including Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana or Wisconsin, are required. If you’re

Key Responsibilities:

Proactively identify, qualify, and close municipal customers across an assigned Midwest
territory, expected to include one or more of Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and Wisconsin
based on the candidate’s geographic location, relationships, and market strengths.

Leverage an established network of municipal water, wastewater, and public works contacts to
generate introductions, develop qualified opportunities, and accelerate pipeline growth within
the territory.
- Conduct outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn) to a curated list of utility leaders and decision makers.
- Deliver compelling product demos, collaborate on proposals, and support RFP responses.
- Represent ClearFlow at regional conferences, trade shows, and client meetings.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and manage your sales pipeline from outreach through close.
- Collaborate with Sales leadership and technical experts to ensure solution fit and deal success.
Required Experience:

5+ years of successful sales experience serving municipal or public-sector customers,
including B2G and relevant B2B sales within water, wastewater, public works, infrastructure,
GIS, or related markets.

Established relationships and an active professional network of municipal water,
wastewater, and/or public works leaders and decision-makers in at least one of the target
states, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana or Wisconsin, required.

Proven success managing a full sales cycle, from prospecting and relationship development
through proposals, procurement, and close.

Strong understanding of municipal buying cycles, procurement processes, RFPs, and
public-sector decision-making.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Demonstrated ability to combine relationship-based selling with proactive outbound
prospecting, including calls, email, LinkedIn, conferences, and industry networking.

Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce to manage pipeline, activities,
opportunities, and forecasts.
